Great USB Hub for Computer Enthusiasts

Using this USB hub, our team found that it's incredibly versatile and easy to use. It allowed us to connect multiple peripherals and accessories to our computers, including headphones, microphones, and more. The sleek design and compact size make it easy to take on the go, and the durable construction ensures it will hold up over time. The only downside we experienced was that it can get a bit crowded when all ports are in use, but that's to be expected with any multiport hub. Overall, weโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Provides access to multiple ports for enhanced connectivity.
Cons
  • Requires a separate power source to work, which can limit its portability.

Issues: Why my 27 " iMac randomly shuts down

I previously gave this hub a 5 star rating but have since encountered issues reported by others. My iMac, 27 inch , late 2015, shut down unexpectedly and I was only able to restart it by unplugging the power cord for 5-10 seconds, then plugging it back in and pressing the restart button.I suspected my APS PSU first and replaced it.But the problem remained. My iMac would shut down in screen saver mode 2 or 3 times a day. I didn't experience any disconnections while actively working on theโ€ฆ

Looks good and works. REVIEW AND EVALUATION WITH CHANGES: 05/14/2017

So far so good (IOW: works out of the box). It fits very snugly on a 27-inch iMac Retina 5K (obviously pre-USB-C model), and you can only use one on an iMac. Small protrusions on the main body of the hub fit into a vent that runs along the bottom edge. Insert these protrusions into this air vent, and then connect the hub's own connector to your iMac. This is useful for USB peripherals that don't always need to be plugged into a computer. - SD media or when connecting the camera to a computerโ€ฆ
