Like a Perfect Toaster, It Just Works - Failsafe

I bought a Sabrent EC-SS31 1.5" SATA HDD/SSD to USB 3.1 Adapter to connect internal 128- Cloning GB SATA SSDs to three Dell 9020Ms Optiplex for the new Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB is in the works. The cable came with a USB-C adapter which I didn't use. The end of the year is always busy for our company. We'll find out if we can buy new toys, how much we'll have to spend, and insist on getting tax on it all before the end of the year. This year has forced us to move from Windows 7 to Windows 10, but

Raspbian and permissions issues

This seemed to work right away with a SanDisk Extreme SSD used as an external drive on the Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspbian Buster. Formatted the drive normally and accepted file transfer and so on. Permissions got shaky on every reboot for files/folders on that drive, and some apps on the Pi kept throwing "Permission Denied" errors when trying to rename or move despite being granted access. Different drives caused the same problems; The problems disappeared when the same drives were used with a…

Worked great! in Cables & Accessories

I used this cable when upgrading my MacBook Pro and wife's hard drives (from HDD to SSD). It was just a gamble as I didn't know if I really needed a sled with a body and such, but the thing worked great! I don't want to bore you with the whole story, but my wife's hard drive failed (won't boot and I've tried everything to get it working, including reinstalling the OS a couple of times). So I reluctantly sent it to a data recovery place who charged me a HUGE amount of money for data extraction…

Reliable and Convenient USB SSD Cable

I love this cable so much I bought two more along with this one. I have a lot of SSDs and two laptop hard drives that I use regularly for different purposes. I always use these Sabrent USB to SSD adapters to clone my new SSDs and HDDs, which has happened quite a bit over the last year. I've used these Sabrent SSD cables regularly for everything from laptops to at least six different desktops. I've never had problems with data transfer - neither with USB 2.0 interfaces nor with USB 3.0. I bought
