product works great! It takes some getting used to which slot you have to use and which angle you have to use. Once you get the hang of it, it's a great product.

So glad I saw this. I don't want the grill's steel bristles getting stuck in my food and then getting stuck in my throat. My husband loves that it has a pen.

This grill cleaner works great. Its various cutouts fit almost any cooking grate, even flat cast iron. The handle is easy to attach and long enough to keep your hands away from the heat. Much better than brushes. Would buy again.

This rod works wonders on my grill and fire screen. It was very easy to use and got rid of any buildup quickly. When I was done, I washed it in the dishwasher; this slightly affected the finish (darkened the color). Much better than the wire brush I used before!

To clean your grill with this appliance, clean one grate at a time. Takes much longer than other methods. I still prefer pumice stone. To clean this, take the stainless steel disc apart and throw it in the dishwasher. The balancing tool cannot be washed in the dishwasher. It's strong and well made.

I've been tossing and turning between this and the standard non-bristle options (which I've used extensively in the past). My rating: As a grill cleaner, it is absolutely useless. If you press hard you can remove some of the dirt (sounds like you're ripping apart a steel mesh), but then you have to use a brush to clean the rest. This defeats the purpose of this device. Don't waste your time and money on this.

I've used it on cooking grates. It works really well, but since you really can't use it more than once, it lasts longer than a grill brush. But then again, I bought this because it seems safer than wire brushes. It does a great job of cleaning my cast iron skillet, including the raised row side for grill marks. I no longer have to clean up all the junk after it cools down. For that I would definitely recommend getting a pen with it as you can use it to clean anything while it's hot. By the way,
