Possibly the best winter boot ever. Comfortable, light, warm, waterproof. The seams on the inside of the sock were frayed and slightly bunched on the first pair I ordered. Just a production error, no big deal. The exchange process went smoothly. These are my go-to winter boots in Minnesota, I cannot recommend them.

wear them in my cold basement while I work there, sometimes for hours at a time. The floors are cold. These shoes did what I was hoping for, which was to keep my feet warm and comfortable on cold floors. They fit well and appear to be well made. I expect them to last me many years for the way I use them. I'm sure if I had walked outdoors on all sorts of rough surfaces the soles wouldn't have lasted as long. But not me. So I will never know how well they will hold up in more extreme conditions…

The first pair of Salomon shoes I bought. Very happy with it. They fit my size. I wear merino wool socks with it. I was looking for winter boots that were insulated and waterproof rather than heavy and bulky. After about 4 days of wearing these boots are very comfortable in terms of cushioning and feel on the foot. They're warmer than expected due to the high level of insulation, and a special winter insole helps keep feet warm. They seem to breathe relatively well, my feet don't feel too hot…
