Wires too short: Screw

Screw terminal works well Leads are designed for soldering through to prototype board Leads are not long enough to make good mechanical contact to the prototype board without soldering.

WHERE IS THE SOLDERING PLATE?

not a big board shouldn't be included the board can be seen in the photo but I needed one thought it was part of the order otherwise everything ok now I have to order a board for soldering, waste of time. I hope this helps someone who might think the project fee is included. It is not!

High Quality Small Terminal Blocks

Overall this is excellent quality. They would offer this as a set of 2 terminal blocks (which can be stacked together) to make any even number of terminals desired. In this case the clamps cannot be separated and longer ones are not very useful to me. You will only receive 1 of each size.

True Cage Clamp Terminal

These terminal blocks are cage type terminals. When unscrewing, the clip fully releases the wire. The cage opens and closes (clamps) in a linear direction. This design is superior to other cheaper clamps where the screw flexes the tongue onto the wire when tightened. When loosening the screw, the metal tab on the wire remains bent. It would be ok if you just insert the wire once and leave it there forever. However, if you're like me and need to move the wires around and reuse the terminalโ€ฆ

Small board not included. The board is so visible in the photo but I needed it, thought it came with the order. Everything else is good, now I have to order a board for soldering, waste of time. I hope this helps someone who might think the project fee is included. It is not!

Excellent Quality Small Terminal Blocks

Overall this is excellent quality. Although it says so in the description, I wish they would offer this as a set of two terminal blocks (which can be stacked together) to make any even number of terminals you would like. In this respect, the clamps cannot be separated, and I don't really need longer ones. You will only receive 1 of each size.

True Cage Clamp

These terminal blocks are a real cage clamp. The cage opens and closes (clamps) in a linear direction. This design is superior to other cheaper clamps where the screw flexes the tab on the wire when tightened. down the wire. It would be ok if you just insert the wire once and leave it there forever. However, if you're like me and need to move the wires around and reuse the terminal, you'll need a small screwdriver or pickaxe to pry back the tab to open the terminal and make room for the newโ€ฆ
