I have an HP laptop that I was looking to upgrade from 4GB. When I opened it to see the storage present I was surprised to see the Samsung label so I ordered this Samsung to bring it up to 12GB. I was worried it wasn't the right set but the service manual said I could use 8 and 4 to get 12. Worked great!

I bought this as an 8GB upgrade for my Lenovo ThinkPad T480s. This is the exact Samsung SKU that Lenovo posted on their website. Lenovo puts its part number on it, but the sticker on the SODIMM itself in the picture is that specific SODIMM model. I just finished the installation and booted up my computer. Arrived in factory packaging, fast delivery. This memory corresponds exactly to my existing memory for my ASUS VivoMini Barebones Mini-PC with Intel Core i7-7500U and integrated 4K UHD graphics, Midnight Blue (UN65U-M178M). I now have 16GB with this 8GB addon and it works FAST! A++

Appears to be original parts 8GB laptop RAM installed with no problems, matched the same 8GB so I already have the same part number but a different batch Installed. Overall a good product, but the shipping packaging bothered me, although I didn't have any problems with it. Came in a pimply envelope, the ram was wrapped in ordinary plastic. I would have preferred it shipped in a box to reduce shipping hassles with something as fragile as RAM, but luckily there were no issues this time.

I recently bought a 15 inch AMD HP-15-db0069wm laptop with 8GB RAM filling one of two memory slots. I doubled the storage to 16GB for less than $40. Two RAM bars put AMD boards in dual-channel mode, which further increases performance. This RAM is the exact same model that came with my laptop. Besides upgrading to an M.2 500GB SSD as my boot drive, I now have a "cheap" laptop that doesn't run cheap at all. WARNING: Installing these parts for the above HP laptop is not for the faint of heart…

I mean RAM. Got my computer from 8g to 16g mainly for it to run in dual mode as it only had 1 x 8g. I would never need 16, but I wanted it to run in dual mode. Also, I think it was just to test the future? The install is like any RAM install I've ever done, insert at an angle and press down. It might not be needed at all, but for $30+ why not.
