Excellent purchase. I compared all other models, Samsung's contrast is definitely the best. Always bright, clear picture. Easy to use (user friendly) buttons to rebalance the image at any time. Revain's price was much better.

I've never had a problem with this monitor, I've had it for over 5 years now. This is no longer my primary monitor, but when I use it it never fails!

The monitor works great. No problem, 1440x900 resolution. as promised. There was a problem with the graphics drivers, I had to find and install the drivers myself for them to display correctly, but this is more of a Vista problem. Great monitor, great picture, no complaints.

Bought two of these to complete my triple monitor viewing experience. Both monitors arrived with no dead pixels and are very clear. Of course, what do you expect from Samsung? These guys are good!

I bought this item elsewhere. I was very disappointed when I got it home. I could only find one screen resolution that gave decent results, and even then, text on anything but a white background was blurry and had pink and green ghosting on it. Colors are very good but there is some small ghosting/blurred letters. It could be my old Dell8100 graphics card, but it seems other buyers are having the same issue. If I had known then what I know now, I would not have bought it.

My reason for buying this brand was the price and I bought another Samsung product for my mum a few years ago and it has served me well for years! I bought the SynchMaster 920NM on 11/10/2007. Out of the box impressions are good - a diskette, instructions etc. A helpful tip is to connect the monitor cable before assembling the stand. Trying to connect to a local base can be a little tricky. Performance is good, but you'll need to make sure you use the auto-tune feature and switch between the different preset modes to get the most out of your new purchase. Well I received this very (!) poorly packaged item purchased from Revain (unspecified seller). It arrived with a box literally torn at the seams and zero no over the seals at the bottom of the box. I chose this monitor because it feels decent to me and I trust Samsung as a brand. However, over the following weeks I noticed that several stores were selling LG monitors with much better response times (2ms) and better contrast resolution (2000:1) for around the same price. If I had known that, I would have waited and gotten one of them. I have never had any problems with an LG product.

Bought this for my relatives to provide a larger screen instead of the laptop they had as the screen was too small. You loved this monitor. Looks great, good price and definitely recommend. Note: Be sure to check multiple websites for price differences before purchasing.
