A lot of the negative reviews here appear to be from previous generation MacBook Pros with Intel processors and possibly third-party graphics cards. I thought I had found the perfect monitor for my needs and I really liked it. That is, until I noticed that all my text was a bit blurry on macOS, which was a big problem. I was able to fix this by turning off "High Dynamic Range" in the display settings, but that honestly eliminates the main reason I bought this monitor in the first place. Update: It seems that the monitor doesn't wake up from deep sleep quite often, and often it doesn't wake up even after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable. I did an exchange today, let's see if it's just this block. Whoever designed this stand at Samsung should be fired, period! I've been using this monitor for more than a month, everything is fine. Playing games like Battlefield or Division 2 with HDR enabled looks fantastic with dark areas and deep color depth. I have no complaints about the monitor, I will buy more. I like how the toggle switch for changing inputs is located. It's on the underside of the front panel, right in the middle. No more reaching to the right and shifting from behind. Much easier to use and the design is very nice.

Samsung has a good panel. But a very stupid designer and did not fully test the monitor. I bought it and realized on day one that the product didn't pass the proper tests! Check the back of the monitor. LU28R55 is a great product for the price; It's fast 4k with a small area. But here's the thing; You may not want to use the included stand. I'll let others praise this monitor, it's certainly a very good one. HOWEVER, I would like to add a problem I've encountered. I have MACBOOK PRO (latest version with Intel processor). As you know, you need to connect the HDMI to the dongle. Well, it's difficult for a Samsung monitor to stay connected to a computer. I bought my parents a Mac Mini and needed a monitor to match their old iMac. This monitor fully meets all requirements. Excellent image, good adjustment, super sharp and accurate colors and amazing resolution. For the price you can't go wrong.

Lots of pixels = easy to read spreadsheets with tiny numbers, crisp text even if it's very small, great graphical rendering. I don't play games, but movies and sports are shown very well, so I think the motion features are at least adequate for most games.

I now see a dark spot on the right edge of the screen after less than 2 years of use. This dark spot changes in size and position after a restart. Warranty expired. BEWARE.

5 months in shimmery yellow and red Samsung support sucks so I'm throwing it in the trash I wouldn't buy it 3840 x 2160 Pixels.

Upgraded my son's old gaming monitor to 1920x1080. The first words out of your mouth were WOW. Non-4K content looks fine, but 4K content looks great. Connect HDMI1 to XBOX X, HDMI2 Gaming PC.

I recently bought 2 of these devices for my home office and they are perfect for both work and play. I specifically wanted a 4K monitor for a larger workspace and they will come in handy when gaming.
