I have had the Sangean PR-D9W radio since April 26th 2011 and am very happy with it. My wife enjoys listening to AM radio news in AM and I enjoy listening to late night radio (mostly AM) with surprisingly good reception even for more distant stations. I bought a used Sangean PR-D9W at a reduced price as I have owned a PR-D7 and have enjoyed it for 6 years. Revain placed an order for a used D9W and the unit arrived like new with all accessories and paperwork. Even the box looked like new. I've just received my radio so can't comment on durability but I have to say I haven't experienced any of the other negative reviews. .For example: noise in headphones or too much bass.
