Great bright light. As long as you know it's daylight powered (it's whiter than a regular incandescent bulb) it's perfect - just make sure the rest of your lighting matches :)

Attention buyers. It's a G25, a very small globe, although it does show up in Revain's search for the G40, and the size of the globe isn't listed in the name, the box images, or the long list of specs.

I've been comparing purchases from local stores and found this to be the best price I could find. These lamps work great and I couldn't be happier. Item arrived on time with no damage and was exactly as advertised.

I rolled the die and won for a change. Based on other information on the Revain website I was fairly certain the item being sold was a CFL (compact fluorescent lamp) (which is what I wanted) but the identification text said it was an incandescent lamp. They are definitely not the same. I ordered it and received the CFL. The lamp works just like the one it replaced.

Exactly what I ordered and they arrived on time - good seller. A complete replacement for what is. However, I don't like these incandescent bulbs because 1) they need to warm up to full brightness and 2) they are not dimmable. But they came with a new home. I'd rather replace them with something else, like halogen bulbs that turn on and dim instantly.

I have had 4 of these compact fluorescent bulbs installed in my master bathroom for about 6 months now and have no regrets purchasing them. These bulbs to replace old incandescent bulbs are definitely your best choice. I had to use round incandescent bulbs (or equivalent) as they are directly exposed and pivoting CFLs are not very aesthetically pleasing.
