Great shoes for the price

Got these shoes to replace a pair of Salomons I've had for about 2.5 years. I run about 3 times a week all year round. I like that these shoes are light and I like their price. However, I am rather skeptical that they will last as long as what I had before. They are mainly made of fabric and this seems to be the reason for most wear and tear on tennis shoes. I will definitely keep them and then maybe switch to shoes with more leather.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some faults

Not suitable for severe overpronation

These shoes are so cute! I love the color combo and I love the light weight - definitely cool there. What I don't like is that I have severe overpronation. I am desperately trying to find a replacement for the now unavailable Salomon XR Missions and despite the reviews it is not. Half an hour after wearing, leg pain started due to lack of support. They're just not a stabilizing shoe or not stiff enough for the conditions. So they come back and the search continues.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Don't know what happened?

I've worn a 6.5 all my life. There was even a Priora Saucony TR2 in green, thought I'd try pink. The right boot was very tight and I thought, um, maybe it's stretching? No such luck after 2 weeks of use was destined to happen. I ended up throwing them away and buying them from a store where I could be sure they really were that pair. It was. I still like the brand and will continue to buy but not online. Very comfortable and long lasting with proper processing. Too bad I liked pink but had to…

Disappointed with the quality of finish

This is my fourth pair of Sauconys and I love the way they fit and usually hold up. However, this pair's finish began to erode with minimal use. They've been worn about 20 miles on pavement and 2-3 miles on dirt roads and still look pretty new everywhere except for the pink trim pictured, which has inexplicably started to fall apart. They were only worn with shorts or shorts with good socks so nothing to wear against the place and it's not my walk as I've never had shoes like this. Check out a…
