I've been buying Saucony TR shoes for years, starting with TR7 (we're up to TR12 now). The fit is the same, and these shoes are great for running on unpaved surfaces (such as dirt trails in the Cook County Forest Preserve). Also ideal if you like running - this shoe offers excellent stability for all activities you do (running, walking, interval training, etc.). Good value for money.

Pros
  • I keep my fists
Cons
  • too blunt

Doesn't last long :( on shoes

The Excursion TR10 lasted two years and it was my favorite tennis shoe ive ever had, bought this size in hopes that they are a good substitute .They are comfortable enough but after one wear the inner lining started to fray and the fabric around the collar started to unravel so you can see the material in the shoe had high hopes for these guys but were disappointed that they didn't even last two days, let alone two years.

Comfortable, breathable, lightweight, decent arch support

I work in a school where I am constantly on my feet for about 3 hours each day, either standing or walking. Comfortable, breathable, light weight, with good arch support and a lot cheaper than the last pair of trainers I've had from Saucony and also Brooks. I ordered width 9 and it fits as expected. I only gave them 4 stars because I don't like the color combination, but I care more about comfort than attractiveness when it comes to shoes these days.

  • Comfortable

Great for nurses in shoes

I travel a lot RN and have had a lot of success in shoes from this brand for a number of reasons. They are available in large widths, are breathable, washable and hard-wearing. Due to plantar fasciitis, I was desperate for shoes that were both affordable and comfortable. I removed the original insoles and replaced them with drugstore orthopedic insoles that cost about $9. I then trimmed the original insoles to reach the toe box for coverage. Essentially cut them in half, place the half up to…

The size does not fit and the product falls apart after 1 week!

I ordered these size 9 shoes, which I wear sacredly. I received them and they were too small. I came back with no problems and got 9 1/2. They're a bit wide, which isn't great if you don't want that and you're into a sport that makes you change direction instantly. It's a small thing, but then again if you play sports. The laces are ridiculously long. After 1 week of wearing, the leather, including the laces, is literally noticeable at the seam. It would be possible to argue with the width and…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions

  • threadbare

Within a week there was a hole in the side of the boot.

First of all, my athletic shoes have always served me for many years, whether Saucony, Asics, NB, etc. I have never seen such a problem. I bought them first and a pair of Asics, wore them out at home one evening and settled on the Saucony. I bought them specifically for a longer trip to Disney World. I wanted something comfortable and something that would last. I bought them about 1 week before departure and hardly wore them. I really just wanted to blow them apart. Within a week the shoe…

  • Good product for the price
