Sauder 401527 Keyboard Shelf Finish Review

Great product. Loved the keyboard tray, easy install. It's comfortable and way better than my original shelf. Good people are easy to deal with.

We had to add a couple of washing machines for my desk but it worked just fine. I am very satisfied with the product and have plenty of space for comfortable use.

Works well. It would be nice to have a template for placing brackets. Was a bit fiddly, but after the installation everything works smoothly and stably.

Sauder keyboard tray worked as advertised. It was a tricky job to install (it really needs a template to prepare the screw holes - that's why it got 4 stars instead of 5) but once installed it worked fine.

It would also be helpful if all the screws that should be in there were included - it's good that we had spare parts on hand. Raised sides on a tray would be "nice to have". This is a simple sturdy tray.

Installed on my table which is not Sauder. Very easy to install, just used my drill and it took maybe 10 minutes. There is no drilling template included, so you need to make one yourself, but the assembly is extremely simple and very easy. This is an EXCELLENT tray, very durable and stable, runs smoothly. I'm very happy with it!

looks good, durable, easy to slide and good customer service when i had problems. For example, this shelf is deep enough without requiring additional depth for gear - it allowed me to fit where most wouldn't. Very happy with the purchase. Note the documented shelf width. It's wide enough for my small keyboard and mouse, but can get cramped for some large modern keyboard and mouse combos.

This is the worst pull out keyboard I've ever bought. Table and then measure accurately with a ruler lying on your back, when you close the pull all the way pinch and pinch it, then after a couple of pulls the plastic part on the rail comes loose and all the ball bearings fall to the floor. may look nice but thats all i had to give for one star but if possible i would give less than one

Some dimensions for those of you planning to install this on tables from other manufacturers: The shelf is 25 inches wide and 14.5 inches deep. The sliders extend 11.5 inches. The top surface of the shelf is 2.75 inches from the mounting surface (the bottom of your desk) - my Kensington Expert Mouse trackball has a hard time going under the desk.
