So far so good. for my opinion

I’ve tried everything from natural remedies to prescription shampoos. So far having good results and ordered a second bottle. Small bottle but small amount of product goes along way.

Pros
  • This is the only shampoo that helps me with the dandruff.
Cons
  • I had a very high expectation for this shampoo, but unfortunately it di

Unimpressed good for me

I was truly unimpressed with the Phyto Anti-dandruff treatment shampoo. It smelled horrible, like gasoline. The consistency was also very thin, so if you weren't careful, you would lose a lot of product when you poured it not your hand. I prefer Neutrogena T/Sal therapeutic shampoo which has little to no scent and a much better, shampoo-like consistency. For half the price with the Neutrogena, you get twice as much product and more active ingredient. In short, skip the Phyto and purchase the…

Pros
  • It was the best shampoo I've found for my scalp issues and now it's been discontinued 😢
Cons
  • May not work for severe cases of dandruff

Slow but good! - my new review

I saw previous reviews so I was expecting immediate results! I find it is making a difference but slowly which is ok! I have tried everything else and nothing has worked! I am glad I bought it! Do try if u have psoriasis/ dandruff!

Pros
  • Shampoo & Conditioner
Cons
  • Has a strong medicinal smell

Works great! best in my review

I have dandruff, like all the time. The itchy, flakey dandruff that sometimes hurts. I held off buying this because at the time, I could only find it at Sephora and it's expensive. I saved some money buying it on amazon. I use twice a week when it's bad and once a week to maintain. I used very little, applying to my scalp only and letting it sit for a few minutes. It's the only dandruff shampoo that works for me and can tame mY dandruff breakouts.

Pros
  • Leaves hair feeling soft and silky
Cons
  • Has a strong chemical odor that some people find unpleasant

Flagship of anti-dandruffs

Tried all anti-dandruff brands, but this is the only one that works for my itchy & flaky scalp. If you want a non prescription, non-steroidal solution for your dandruff, this is the ONE. Been on it for years now.Just needs to be marketed to the public better.

Pros
  • Provides relief from dry scalp
Cons
  • Difficult to find in stores

Don't give in to the hype

This stuff didn't work for me at all. Selsum Blue works better for dandruff for me and it's only 6 dollars! I don't have horrid dandruff but it's enough so that when my hair starts getting oily by the end of the day (I have very oily hair) my head will start itching really bad and it was driving me crazy. I had been trying everything under the sun to try to get rid of it and ran across this since I saw that a lot of people got results with this when nothing else worked. Well, it's a teeny tiny…

Pros
  • Suitable for use on color-treated hair
Cons
  • May not work well with other hair care products

Stopped working after years of success. new formula?

This shampoo used to be my salvation for a scalp condition. I used it for several years. Then the original bottle design went away for a while and this one came out. After some shortage in product I got it from here at last. Well, it doesn't work now. I do not know why. My scalp is as irritated as if I never used it before. It used to solve my issues completely in 2-3 uses, now I can use it for months with no results. I know sometimes our body gets used to a product or medicine we use, but I…

Pros
  • Provides visible results after just one use
Cons
  • Can cause more harm than good if used incorrectly

Only thing that works this well

Updated review: I get pretty bad dandruff and after trying 4-6 different products to control it, this is really the only thing that works. It comes in a teeny-tiny hard aluminum bottle (so many complaints here) but since nothing else works like this does, it still gets 4/5.Here's what you do: Use any other shampoo first to get your hair sufficiently wet then use a small amount of this and make sure it gets in deep to your scalp. Let it soak in 2-3 minutes before you rinse. Directions state 2-3…

Pros
  • Reduces hair breakage
Cons
  • Can be too harsh for young children

Pros
  • Formulated with natural ingredients

I am amazed and wish i'd found it years ago

The remedy I've been searching for 20 years! For 20 years I've suffered from scalp getting so dry that it scabs and I could never find a cure. And this worked in 2 treatments. After the 1st, 75% gone, after the 2nd 90% gone. I just used it a 3rd time and my scalp feels completely normal! I am amazed and wish i'd found it years ago!

Pros
  • Very expensive for the size, but it works.
Cons
  • Small bottle size may not last very long

The brutal & honest truth is that this product doesn't completely get rid of my dandruff even with continual use. (Hence the 4 out of 5 stars) And if you have tough dandruff like me, it may not get rid of yours as well. But it may be the best thing you can buy before seeking out a specialist.I've used Head and Shoulders, T/Gel therapeutic shampoo, Tea Tree Oil, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo, Vinegar, Nioxin Scalp Recovery. and then a whole long list of other 'anti-dandruff' or 'scalp…

Pros
  • Hair Care
Cons
  • Some users have reported increased hair loss

I have used a few different products before this on my daughter's hair. She has struggled with dandruff for awhile now and nothing seemed to work. She has used this twice now and the dandruff is almost completely gone. I will say that it doesn't smell the best but is not horrible. Waiting the 3 to 5 minutes to rinse is also a pain especially if you are in a hurry. But it works so I will be happy to wait if it means she gets rid of her dandruff problem. It can be embarrasing and this shampoo has

Pros
  • Reduces scalp redness
Cons
  • Can be too harsh for use on a daily basis
