Love how durable! I've been using it for over a year! It's been a year since I bought these needles. I've changed the needle ONCE, and it's only because I thought I bent the needle when I pulled out a kind of "nest" on my embroidery machine. this.; not because of the needle. As an avid seamstress, I prefer a strong, durable needle. I use them in my sewing machine, serger and embroidery machine. With this amount of sewing, the needles must be changed regularly. I have found these needles to be the most reliable in whatever size and style (wing, double, denim, leather, serger, or embroidery) I need. Yesterday I used this needle for the first time on a product that I knit on the go. So I sewed through cotton, plus 2 layers of fabric. I also used a light (50 weight) Aurifil thread. So far sewing is great. The fabric no longer needs to be "pierced", slides easily and I'm definitely happy with the result (with the special thread I used).
