Bought to start a breast pump from a car and the product did the job. If your car has little space around the cigarette socket, it may be too big, but it fits most cars.

8.2 amps printed just above the plugs. I connect a 7 amp load and it immediately trips the internal protection, turns off and the LED turns red and an alarm sounds. By installing an internal wattmeter on the unit, I see that consumption ranges from 1.4-2.0 amps with normal use, making a temporary jump to 7.0-7.2 amps. The supplied cables have been used and the battery is fully charged. I have just ordered a different brand 2500w inverter to replace this one.
