Worked well. but the brown mute wire on pin 14 is not the mute wire on most Dodge/Chrysler vehicles, it is a serial data link from the radio/dashboard/engine control module. So if you hook it up to a radio with a brown mute wire, you'll get a "bus error" code on the dash and some of your sensors won't work. Everything else worked great and installation was easy.

I had trouble finding the right part but I think this is the one that comes with my Jeep Grand Cherokee fits WK) 2005 with navigation and amplifier. Note that my amplifier stereo does not support direct wiring to a new stereo without a power rail or similar. I ended up running the speaker wires from this harness to the amp where I connected directly to the speaker wires. As a result, the factory amplifier had to be bypassed and the sound quality was relatively poor. I wanted to add an amp but…

This wiring harness for Dodge with 4 speakers RBK radio. Says the model on the left side of the radio. All the wires are marked, although they are not the same color as the normal wire harness, this is correct. The wires are copper and the plug fits perfectly into the regular end. I have included photos of the broken wiring harness, even for the second wiring harness which I believe controls the steering and other things. Hope that helps

This adapter works great. The wires are thick enough and definitely long enough for whatever you try to do with this harness. There is a helpful wire color legend on the box so you don't have to look it up online. Ideal for installing a new car stereo. I got this for a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with no steering wheel controls or limited sound system so I'm not sure if this harness will support them.

This wiring harness covers many years and models of Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler vehicles. The 01-05 Town and Country with NBS (branded system, also known as the Infinity sound system) has an extra wire that needs to be routed to the front fuse box near the battery. Because of this, you need to make an extra connector for the wiring, or hardwire an extra wire from the battery line to the fuse box. (about 7 feet of wire). Warning.

I recently replaced the factory radio with a newer Bluetooth head unit and needed a connector that would unlock the power amplifier features offered in my Grand Cherokee. Although this Jeep was registered as a Laredo Special Edition model, it had the Infinity Gold Sound System like the Limited and therefore required a different wiring harness unlocking the power amp which only came with 2002-2004 Laredo models. Connecting the wires was as easy as matching wires of the right color to each other.
