Good build quality with some flaws. . .

I used this on a 2014 Hyundai Sonata with a Kenwood DMX905S. there were some problems. When replacing the clock, air ducts and air conditioning control knobs, I found that the window that houses the clock is larger than the factory unit. and the fit is not always 100% accurate. Generally they fit, but seems like some minor tweaks were made so some screw holes were misaligned. The front is like stock, no problems. The double DIN hole is slightly smaller (175mm x 100mm) than the standard size…

Great product!: Car electronics

Looks great and matches the interior of my 2011 Sonata. Extremely easy to install and swap parts (e.g. clock, emergency button etc.) from the original dashboard to this one transfer was extremely easy. The package that came with the Pioneer AVH stereo I bought was a bit off. There was a small gap at the bottom of the stereo opening, most likely due to the mounting hardware that came with the stereo. I added some 1/4" standoffs and the problem was solved. Also, the Pioneer stereo came out about…

The head unit (two DIN style) could not be adjusted without modification

It looks good and sits well in the car. Installing the part itself isn't difficult, but the stereo I bought doesn't fit. And I had the standard 7 inch model. I considered sending the unit back and getting another one, but all the ones I looked at were the same dimensions. So I had to cut a bigger hole to fit. Thanks to my skills I was able to do this, but unless you have experience modifying things and the ability to make it look good and professional I wouldn't recommend it. Unfortunately, the

Good fit and quality

This is a rather unique situation - I ordered a Scosch kit for my 13th Sonata through the Revain Warehouse to save money. The package came and I was not impressed. It was three piece, fairly flimsy, didn't fit well and didn't have a bracket to plug my new receiver into the dash. I then discovered that the product in the box was a METRA brand - someone pushed the Revain warehouse workers and I received a poor quality product. A way of knowing that the brand has been printed on the back of the…

UPDATE: Got a new one and it fits very well. Still had to be modified to fit my head unit but it fit the car much better. Changed from 1 star to 3 stars to let people know it won't fit every 7 inch double din. It doesn't fit my radio or my car. When I first tried to install this in my car after installing a new JVC KW-V620BT 7 inch double din radio, the dash wouldn't snap into place because the double din hole was too small. There was a huge gap at the top, but the sides were too narrow not to…

I thought it looked good initially but installation was a problem. I'm trying to install this in a 2012 Sonata. The radio mounts are just plain bad and the mounting points don't line up with the actual mounting point in the car, also the radio mounting points (on the Pioneer AppRadio 4) appear to have been torn off. I've tried using the OEM mounts but they don't allow me to fully engage the dash and I currently have 1/4 inch clearance. I want it to work as I think it looks really good so I…
