🧽 Scotch-Brite Dobie Cleaning Pads (6-Pack) [Packaging May Differ] Review

I can't believe I just found this. They work so well with stainless steel and it's so easy to get burnt food off of them without scratching them.

I have used them my whole life and was so sad when they disappeared from my local shop! I will continue to buy and use them until I die.

If you've never tried it, do it. This is just the best sponge in the world. It never looks rough and always gets the best cleanliness. I will never use another sponge again. The only downside is that they tend to tear if you get caught on something, and once they start you can't stop them from spreading all over the sponge. I usually get 1 a month.

I started using Dobie wipes in the early 90's after seeing them with Bon Ami and lots of glass cleaning water in a lab for testing films and coatings as well as glass were used. must be absolutely clean. As with Bon Ami, the Dobies clean like crazy and DO NOT LOAD. Essential for cleaning windshields, but I also use it on non-stick cookware and anywhere scratches are an issue.

These sponges are fantastic when properly rinsed and wrung out after use. They always stink, like many sponges. I love her like I never thought I could love a sponge. 100% sincere. That aside: many people's sponge/hygiene habits are barbaric. My office mail/meeting manager can make you cry with the stinky sponges, he wipes every surface imaginable without even rinsing, not bothering to wring them out or god forbid wash them or alive burn. I don't feel nostalgic about these sponges like a lot of reviewers do, I just wanted to try something different. These sponges are pretty amazing. They are very powerful cleaning agents and seem to hold soap well. They are superior to any other sponge I have used. I use dobi pads and only dobi pads. It's awesome! I gave them (believe it or not) as stocking stuffers. They don't scratch my pans like many others. Food can be easily washed. When Teflon was in fashion I used it without scratching or peeling the material. I cannot recommend them enough. I also have a trick I use to keep them odor free and last longer. After use, I give the Dobie a good rinse and then apply some liquid dish soap (any brand will do) to the pad. Squeeze the pad to spread the soap

I've been using Dobie pads for years - I don't understand why not all of them! The inner pad is covered with a plastic mesh, which makes cleaning much easier than a regular sponge (especially with stubborn dirt), and the inner pad itself is made of foam, which seems to dry faster than a sponge and doesn't retain mold or mildew smell/ smells. These Scotch Brite Dobie wipes are amazing. I use one for hand washing dishes and it removes most things without scratching nonstick pans. It also works very well on stainless steel and glass surfaces. I keep mine in the kitchen for a month or two. When I need it, I put it in the dishwasher on the top shelf.
