One of the best masking tapes

Nice wide masking tape. Use it on my 2002 Subaru which is known to have a "soft" finish and didn't mark at all. Also used it on drywall to draw patterns and didn't peel off the drywall surface. Will definitely buy again and use in future projects. The best masking tape I've ever used.

Pros
  • Tips for applying masking tape. For excellent painting results, make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust so the tape can stick properly. Then attach the tape to the surface by pressing firmly. Finally, allow the tape to dry for 30 to 60 minutes before painting.
Cons
  • Crumpled

Doesn't work with straight lines on canvas, doesn't stick

I understand that this tape uses a very mild adhesive so it doesn't ruin the surface you're sticking the tape to, but I bought it to create crisp, crisp lines on the canvas. I tried different types of canvas and the tape just didn't last more than a few seconds. It's called masking tape, but unfortunately it didn't work for me.

Pros
  • CREATE SOCIAL LABELS: Quickly, easily and efficiently create boxes or "X" queues for waiting areas or lay lanes in aisles - short or long - lifespan
Cons
  • No instructions

Do not buy this for paint, wall treatments and consumables

This tape sucks. Doesn't stick at all. My walls are looking pretty bad right now. It took me so long to push and push. I used a debit card to try and slide it in and tape. When I decided it was good enough I painted it and when it was dried and cleaned there were stains all over it making it leaky. I've always used the standard blue masking tape and chose it because it's cheaper. Now I have to get some tape and repaint it. It's not worth it at all.

Pros
  • UV/Sunlight Resistant (Indoor use only)
Cons
  • Doubtful

Not thin enough for item

I used it to frame my watercolor paintings. I used regular 3M blue masking tape and when it ran out I figured the thin version might even be better for watercolor paper. nope I gave two stars because someone else might like it. I'm not sure what's wrong with this tape, but it leaves a lot of sticky residue after it's removed. Worse, it tears my watercolor paper! I never had this problem with blue but now I've ruined 3 paintings with that stupid tape. We need to take L and take the usual masking

Pros
  • Tape Removal Tips: Wait until the paint is dry to the touch before removing the tape. Lift the tape by slowly pulling it towards you and then peeling it off at a 45 degree angle.
Cons
  • So far, so good

Best Sticky Notes Best in Color, Wall Treatments & Accessories

I wear this to work and around the house with a highlighter and jot down to-do lists and other notes. When you put it on paper it peels off neatly unless I've left it on the paper overnight or something. Won't leave marks on cupboards etc. As mentioned, I've had trouble with blank bakery labels because if you leave them on for too long the counters will cling to sticky paper that's difficult to peel off. This prevents it. If I leave a long note at work and take it home to finish the last half…

Pros
  • Great for accent walls, decorative stripes or patterns
Cons
  • Negative Impression

Mixed experiences with paint, wall treatments and accessories

I used this tape to seal all of our kitchen cabinets and doors during a recent floor renovation. They run as expected and came off as expected for the most part except for my bedroom door, all doors where it took all the semi-gloss white paint with it when I took it off. So far he's come off clean, so I really wasn't expecting a result like that. The doors aren't freshly painted, they were last painted many years ago, so that's not the point. I do not know what happened. Until I repaint my trim

Pros
  • Edge lock technology seals in paint leaving sharp paint lines
Cons
  • Something else

Not suitable for sensitive surfaces Any surfaces!

What a nightmare! Contractor I want what is best for my clients and projects, money is not an issue. I had a project on the 10th floor of a very elite condominium. We have taken every precaution to protect surfaces using two materials: blue plastic and paper. I want not only my customer to be satisfied, but also the administration of the building. Finished the job, pulled paper and tape, left the project. Came back a day later to continue work and was lucky to get a mark through the carpet and…
