Used this on my 2017 Ford F-250 when I added Dee Zee Trunk Assist. The part that came with it didn't hold up too well and didn't look good. It was the perfect size. It is easy to apply and goes well with car tape. 3M has always been about quality.

When applying with a felt squeegee, bubbles cannot be squeezed out. I don't know what the purpose of this product is but it is not intended to be used as a see through bra to protect color as you cannot apply it cleanly. Bubbles make it ugly and ruin adhesion over time.

The tape came practically in a plastic bag with no company label and instructions for use. It is therefore not really possible to determine whether this article is a genuine 3M product. The next purchase will hopefully be in a regular store. I will not buy it again from this seller or any other seller of this so called brand.

I was painting cabinets in my rental and the area around the door handles under the sink gets rubbed and scratched constantly by renters. I put this tape on the areas that get the most wear and it helps protect the paint. Because the tape is transparent, it's barely visible. Easy to install but haven't had to remove yet.

Protective tape looks great on paper but is difficult to work with. I had three people, and then I tried to separate the paper backing from the tape myself. It was almost impossible, the substrate was constantly being torn at the edge. Half of the protective film came off, but the thin paper film stuck to the clear protective tape. MOG, I spent way too much time fiddling with the tape and I damaged quite a bit of the tape trying to peel the backing off. I tried a sharp knife, nails and tape…
