I have a 12 foot Lowe model 1236 Jon boat that I have installed them on. I wanted a permanent mount for my Scotty rod holders instead of Scotty clamp mounts. The problem with the clamp on the bindings was that they were unwieldy and sometimes came loose after all the trouble of lugging the rod in the holder.
