I use a bread knife to cut them into 4 equal squares. They seem to last longer than a regular scrub dad. Works great on my dishes and pans.

I use this floor scrubber for every possible need - serious cleaning of old tile floors; holds up very well. I've been using this and the smaller round version for 5-7 years and wouldn't want to be without them!

You can easily cut it to the size you want, the scrubber drier stays clean and doesn't pick up food scraps. Removes almost all baked foods, just use cold and it will harden. I cannot say enough good things about this product.

I always wince when I buy them because they are so expensive, but I cut them into much smaller pieces so that they last a long time. I haven't found anything that works as well and I like the fact that they change texture based on water temperature.

The only thing I didn't like was that the absorbency is erratic unlike a sponge. I've used it to clean moldings and placed it in a bucket of cleaning solution, but it didn't evenly transfer the solution to the molding like a sponge would. However, that doesn't stop me from giving the product 5 stars overall. I love it.

I have ordered several times. I cut the large blocks into smaller palm-sized rectangles. I like that it can be used in cold water (hard) for cleaning and softens in hot water for regular dishwashing. Always rinses clean, never smells like sponge. No need for a microwave. When it starts to break down I use it in cold water as a vegetable scraper or to scrape off paper labels to redesign a jar or bottle (but won't remove stubborn glue).
