I have a clog in my pipes and need to clean my toilet more often than maybe most. If I'm not using regular washable pads every few days, I have to pull out the durable pads and they take care of it. They definitely can't be rinsed out, but the ease of cleaning the bowl more than makes up for that. I have recommended it to friends and I have no problem recommending it to you readers.

I prefer these to the paper panty liners which are also available for this toilet brush. These are much harder sponge type scrubbers. It doesn't break down like panty liners and really exfoliates well. Since I bought the starter set, I only buy them as a spare, not for everyday use. Seems much more hygienic than a regular toilet brush! Goes under the brim very easily and removes any water lines or stains.

I have used this product for many years and it has always been the number one choice in our hard water part of the country. Absolutely the best for our septic tank (cleaning doesn't include flushing cleaning wipes into our own septic tank). Durable (= permanent "no-touch" handle to remove and dispose of the used cleaning pad in the bin). A cleaning formula powerful enough to clean hard-to-reach and public areas, along with a well-designed (and durable) handle.

These are slightly better than the standard replacement heads when you need a little more cleaning action, but beware of accidental flushing! I found that the pad came loose several times during cleaning, which wasn't a big issue. It floats to the top and easily connects to the wand.
