Suitable for old Tusa and Dacor fins.

No paid review. Good quality, worked great with my old Tusa and Dacor fins. I only used straps with quick release buckles as I didn't need to replace the female ends that attach to the fins. Looks standard on most diving fins.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Pretty good, not universal

Got these when my straps were dying on some cheap fins, they are too big for my fin grips to connect. I ended up designing a 3D part to replace the plastic but I couldn't find cheap rubber bands so I left them because the bands are great :P

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • weak

Perfect replacement

I lost the strap on one of my fins during lobster season in the Keys this year. Used one of these pairs as a perfect replacement and continued diving without buying a new pair of fins or paying exorbitant prices at the dive center for a new one. They work GREAT on almost all of the manufacturer's products and at a reasonable price.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Can't remember

Does not fit Cressi Pro Light

My son lost a double pen strap for his Cressi Pro Light and was hoping it would work. This is not a universal replacement as it does not fit my Cressi Pro Light (fits my Tusa Tri-Ex). The female end is a bit small but you can press it against the counter but the problem is it won't snap into place. I've tried just using the male end (and reusing the existing Cressi fin female pins) but the center blade on the male part is too wide.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Repair

NO UNIVERSAL FIN STRAP!

These are NOT UNIVERSAL FIN STRAPS! These aren't bad straps, but you might as well ditch the quick-release feature unless your particular fins have a 1/2-inch post that the quick-release snaps into. My Mares Plano fins have the usual D-ring strap attachment found on most fins. and after removing the quick release I was able to attach the straps to the fins the old fashioned way. The product description should explain this and not use the term universal which is a gross misrepresentation.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Only available in black

Saved my dive! the best in the sport

Works great! I was worried that I might have to change my fins, but these new clips solved the problem! It took a bit of "elbow grease" to attach the first clip, then the second was easy. I've only used one from the set so I now have a backup in my snorkel set :) I highly recommend having one on hand if using pinned fins as OE pins sometimes wear out when you expect less than everything ! This product will save you time and money by eliminating the need to throw away your entire set of fins…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Suitable for AERIES MAKO XL DIVE FINS and SHERWOOD fins - PERFECT!

Wow! I just lost a buckle from my Aeries Mako Dive fins on Saturday and received these replacement buckles and straps about 30 hours after ordering. They fit perfectly and exactly as described. All I really needed was a buckle and now I have spares that should last! The buckle looks and fits exactly like the original buckle and I can't tell which one I replaced. If you have fins with an attitude this is perfect! Update - the buckle matches my vintage pink SHERWOOD fins perfectly!

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Poor manual

OK, but two questions.

Bought these fins to replace my son's Deep See AquaGlide fins. They're fine, but they have two problems: They have a quick-release buckle that makes them easy to put on and take off, but the keyhole connector doesn't snap in as tightly as the originals. There are no security issues with the strap in place, but I am concerned that I might lose the keyhole to connect the strap to the fins if I take the fins off while surfing. They crashed several times when I originally installed them. The second

  • Certified
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Perfect fit for my Oceanic Viper fins

The clamping mechanism is indistinguishable from the clamp on the original fins. The previous all-purpose straps I had had fallen off the fins in heavy surf. They cannot detach at all when the strap is deployed and are unlikely to fall off when not deployed. The knob on the side of the fins will only fit the large hole if you rotate the clip to align the small notch. The button cannot return when the body is rotated to a different angle. Then pull that body back and the small hole snaps onto…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
