While it's probably not precise enough to make a "legal" draft, it seems fine to draw a less formal one; that is, to define boundaries between properties. But even this requires some knowledge of drawing courses and distances.

Great product in this price range. I personally like plastic rulers better than steel rulers. Like a digital caliper, sometimes it returns to perfect zero and sometimes it needs to be reset to zero. The worst I see is a 0.09 degree error in returning to a closed position, but usually no more than 0.03 and often a perfect zero. IMO very good performance for a product in this price range.

I started when both arms are 0 degrees on each other, I use it on the ruler triangle, it resumes 90.55 degrees at 90 and 45.50 at 45 degrees (both sides 45). Returning to 0 gives you 0.20 degrees. I notice that every time it goes back to 0 after a known storm resumes, the readings fluctuate between 0.05 and 0.25 (and every time I started zeroing the readings when the hands are exactly lie on one another).
