Looks great: fish and aquatic animals

Love this for all my cichlid tanks. But... I've been using it for years for my Flowerhorn aquarium and other American cichlid aquariums and don't notice much of a difference. But they seem happy and healthy so πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Fair

The packaging was terrible

The package arrived on time but when I opened the package I found the lid had been ripped off and half the supply was in the package. At best I can say that there isn't even a seal on the bottle. I will not buy again!

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Upgradable

If you have American cichlids, buy these.

I don't use regular aquarium salt because all my fish are Central or South American cichlids and this thing is amazing. Do not get on skin as it will warm your skin, not burn but will cause discomfort.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Some little things

Dissolves very quickly

This product dissolves very quickly. When using reverse osmosis water or distilled water the minerals need to be added back and I feel this product does that effectively. Dosing in small tanks can be a bit tricky as you may need to measure out 1/4 or 1/8 teaspoon. Anyway, my South American cichlids seem happy.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Minor problems

Have been storing aquariums for 30 years and as I have said in many other reviews when it comes to Seachem products they are the best you can get! Unlike African cichlids, which thrive in hard, acidic water and require African Seachem Rift Salt, SA/CA/s can adapt, but they won't actually thrive! I always use it in my 220 gallon SA/CA cichlid tank during my monthly 75% water change. Keeping SA and CA together has not proved to be a problem, even with salt dosing I just go back and forth between…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled
