Firstly, Prime and Safe are excellent water conditioners and I will continue to use these products. It is always important to have such products on hand. I got instead of Safe Marine Buffer. Although I received the wrong product, I cannot give this product 1 star. I sent the Sea Buffer back and ordered the safe again hoping the item would be correct this time.

Although we use 'Safe' regularly, we find the powder form more convenient and never have to worry about the 'best before' date or liquid temperature. This is not a problem if you buy a smaller quantity. We've found that we can save a lot of money by buying this formula in bulk/powder and never having to worry about storing it. I highly recommend this if you do LOTS of water changes in multiple tanks daily, you have really big tanks 250+ gallons and it's also very concentrated. Bought the bottled liquid version and paid the price. I could no longer buy RODI water, refilling it was expensive. Prime has allowed me to add just the right amount to my tap water and make up for the evaporated water loss in my reef tank, but it has been getting more and more expensive.
