Has been working fine for me for a few months now. I highly recommend this if you do LOTS of water changes in multiple tanks daily, you have really big tanks 250+ gallons and it's also very concentrated. You can save a lot of money by buying Safe in bulk, but it's not worth it if you're just using it to dechlorinate and detoxify water in separate small tanks. You'll have an insane amount of money left over for the future when you quit your hobby; opt for less safe products sold in smaller containers. Keep this large gallon bucket for monster tank owners or people who frequently change tons of water. I know these things will literally last me decades, a lifetime in the far future when maybe they can use them when I have kids maybe even their kids who knows if they like aquariums lol. So yes, unless you have huge tanks it can't take very long, it depends on the size of your tanks and how often you do your water changes. Well I'm serious guys, a little goes a long way when using the safe.
