The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

I paid 8990R on Ya. Market on March 23, 23 to purchase it. PS: For those who don't know or care, I attached the disk to Sata 2 even though it was designed for Sata 3 (supposedly there it can exhibit its full speed potential). A comparison chart of the current cheapest 6TB drives available on the market is attached to the reviews.   • 1. There aren't any of the noises mentioned in the reviews of this hard drive—no whistles, no crunches—at all. 2. 7200 RPM (should operate more quickly than the same file-washing disks on 5400, conceptually) 3. Similar models have a service life of 2,000,000 hours (of course, they won't work for you for 180 years, but they do look trustworthy; see the YouTube video regarding the time to failure).

Good value for money, I recommend it.

The disc made a tiny, whistling squeak when first removed from the packaging, audible even in the next room during a particularly quiet time of day. The disk was bought with SN02 firmware installed. Investigated the disk's acoustic management and discovered a newer firmware, SG - SN04. The whistling vanished once it was sewn shut. Low quality, I will not buy this anymore.

Most buyers will get SN02 firmware discs. She is old, it is on her that the discs "whistle". You can cure it by installing a new firmware - SN04. How to ate the firmware is described in detail here (the process is not trivial, so I recommend starting with the instructions): -seagate-st6000nm0115/

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

Standard decent disk. I've attached some measurements of the speed. It would appear that all disks of this size and rotating speed have a loud sound of operation, despite the fact that different manufacturers produce them. Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

I did a run in recording mode through Victoria, then I did a full format and no block troubles. Did another full reading test in HD Tune. In short: write / read: 220-230 mb / s at the beginning and drops to 105-110 mb / s at the end. The discs were immediately with firmware SN04, it is even written on the label. Some kind of defective product, I definitely wont buy it anymore.

I bought it, brought it, installed it, turned on the computer, let's copy everything on it. While waiting for copying "enjoyed" crackling and squeaking. Fortunately, I read the comments and knew what I was dealing with. I flashed it to the latest version of SN05. Fast, reliable 512N SAS 7.2k hard drive.

I ordered this drive to replace a failed RAID drive. Upon installation, I was pleased to find that it was indeed new, fast, and came with a full 5 year warranty (not a used or refurbished hard drive!). So I expect it to be reliable and last a long time. It is now running successfully in a server RAID configuration with no issues 2 weeks later at full speed after a restore.
