Absolutely useless product, not suitable for use.

Failed to start. After connecting, he squeaked like Award-bios in case of power problems. Since I assembled the platform on a GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 unfamiliar to me, at first I mistook a quiet, repetitive short sound for a BIOS distress signal (maybe 1155 has such a BIOS? ). But no - the post computer was successful, which was signaled by a loud short beep. In general, the HDD did not even spin the spindle, quietly mourning the failed iron life with a short repeated beep. Beep. Beep. Took it to the

There are pluses and minuses, think before you buy.

Until Seagate begins to think about the reliability of products, they will always breathe in the back of the head of Western Digital. The drive is outdated, but the technology is used in later Seagate models. I recommend paying attention to the products of direct competitors of WD or Toshiba, in extreme cases, Seagate hybrid models. Has pros: The disk technology is not bad, smart, moderately cold, it justifies all the characteristics declared by the manufacturer. Got cons: Glitches started…

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

The average quality is because CHINA (from Thailand, it seems that they bring less defective products, although there is no difference at all). And that's it. In general, in the absence of a hard drive with SATA-II from suppliers, I bought this one and did not regret it. Leaked all the necessary data and can live with peace of mind. Thanks Comp. Love'ka. I hope it serves you well.

    Pros
    • One pancake / plate / disk (as anyone understands), Low temperature both inside and on the surface of the hard, 7200 rpm, No adapter or jumper required. Quiet, does not creak and does not emit "ultrasonic" noise (as some people do).
    Cons
    • SATA-3 interface. Why is he even here!? Turnover as it was 7200, and left. In terms of speed, it is no different from identical hard drives with SATA-II.

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

Great, reliable drive. For more than 5 years, not a single bad, bad sector! The temperature is constantly around +30, rarely rises to +33, it is thin and quiet, probably because it has one pancake for recording, and not a sandwich of 2 or 3 plates. The speed is good, but I don’t get everything it can do from it - this SATAll drive, and I only have SATAll connectors on the motherboard, that is, it can be even faster on a more modern board! He is still on top, reliability just surprised - the…

So far so good.: Data storage

I have to say I was very nervous about buying this. So many customers report so many problems with hard drives from almost every manufacturer. Some of the manufacturer's explanations of rigid transport seemed plausible, but have too often been used as an argument. The Samsonite gorilla didn't get along with everyone. Mine came in a Seagate box with impact resistant plastic caps on each end. The Seagate box was in another larger box that contained the other items I ordered. I intentionally did…

It just works! - Computers and Accessories

All I can say is the name says it just works! In fact, that's all. I bought this drive as a data drive in what I call a beast! I download as many applications as possible to the Program Files directory on this drive. My primary drive is a 240GB SSD and boots into Windows 7 Professional. in exactly 10 seconds! But this drive is very fast at serving apps, videos, and pictures, especially when it doesn't have to worry about the operating system. buy or something like that. Great ride! Beast…

    It's Good When It Works

So, a few weeks ago it went on sale for about $46, and since I needed extra space, I decided to buy (or rather order). I read reviews about it before I bought it and people said it wasn't very reliable but since my main hard drive had such comments and it worked perfectly for me I thought hey my other worked independently of other people. ' Comments, you should too. God how wrong I was. For the first few days I hardly used it because I played carefully not to lose anything if it died on me…

Quiet, Fast, Affordable 1TB Seagate Internal Hard Drive

I got this Seagate internal hard drive in a Revain Goldbox deal at a great price of $46.99 to get. The $47-$60 price range is very good for a 1TB hard drive that's also 7200rpm and 6Gbps. So far I've experienced faster downloads and data transfers after about a week of use. It's only been a week, but in a few months I'll let you know if the drive is working fine or failing (hopefully I don't have to tell you all the failures). Personally, I used this plate as an extra. Hard drive for my PC. I…

Seamless replacement for one of the five problems DOA

This was an exact replacement for a drive of the same model, which SMART also failed to initialize. This replacement drive had no issues and works well in a Synology DS1511+ NAS with four other drives of the same model. They are fast and quiet. Revain's RMA process is the best. I just decided to return the disc as part of my order options. I was able to print a prepaid UPS return label and Revain shipped this replacement drive at the same time. I received a replacement drive two days before UPS

Fails after 4 months (edit: later died)

When I first bought this hard drive and installed it in a new computer I was building I was happy because it was good worked. It was in May. It is now September and this hard drive is starting to show signs of failure. I lost my Windows session twice when my entire hard drive crashed temporarily. The computer then goes to the Insert Startup Disk screen, so I know it no longer recognizes the hard drive. A bit frustrated because I'm building another PC in a month and no longer feel confident…

Think twice before you buy-the product is disgusting.

I bought it for my silent system, and he is buzzing with a howl, even with some kind of howl. I returned it to the store, they checked it, they say everything is in order, it buzzes like the rest of the working disks :), but if you want, we will change it as an exception, in general I’m waiting for the seagate st5xxxx. I wanted to take hitachi. But their sataIII for 500 Gig is not yet .

    Pros

    Cons
    • buzzes at ultra-sound level

Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

Bought in 2022. By the way, at that time it cost ~1500r (!). Immediately put under the system. At the beginning of 2022, I transferred the system to ssd, and ST3500413AS transferred it to the category of a file cleaner, because. for the system, it has become a little old - after 6 years of active use (~ 5 hours per day, several system reinstallations), a decrease in the download speed (Windows, applications) is felt. And so, for 6 years there were no complaints. CrystalDiskInfo 7.0.4. shows…
