Very good Duct Tape

Easy to work with. Really stay in place. Not easy to remove which is what I expected. If it was easy to take it off, it wouldn't hold up like it does now.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Fair

This product is not tape

This product is not adhesive on both sides and only sticks to itself unlike tape which is adhesive on one side. Expensive for what it can be used for I believe.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I will add later

Didn't fit the job I needed

Tightly wrapped can be good for hoses and things with little or no pressure. It didn't help for me, I wrapped the leaking outside faucet very well and tightly and as soon as I turned on the water it just burst.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled

Won't hold 14psi adhesion at 212F but works well at room temperature

Tried multiple times to stop a leak in the van's fire hose. At a pressure of 14 psi and an operating temperature of 212°F, the tape wrapped four times around a 5/8 inch ID hose disintegrated after the temperature was reached. Finally, stainless steel clamps placed over freshly applied tape provided a thermal solution. Looks like good tape but looked stretched and appeared to have lost elasticity on inspection after 4 failed attempts. Maybe it's just the wrong tape for the job. I've used…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

good for a quick fix

This is amazing. I am a tenant and my apartment complex is currently only undergoing emergency repairs due to COVID. You will not fix heat or water. They will not fix anything but will provide parts to repair themselves. So I swapped my garbage chute. The water outlet from the vent was a bit lower than the old vent so once the pipe was installed everything didn't line up exactly. (To be fair they were sealed with hopes and gum prior to installation. Give them a good nudge and they will leak)…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
