Must have homestead tool

My husband always wanted one of these but could never quite make up his mind to get one, so we have repaired our plastic pools, tools and other things by melting slivers of plastic into the tears with a heat gun. It works (sort of) but is labor intensive and not very pretty to look at. It also tends to melt through some other places where there was previously no hole!Then we got this . what a game changer! We now wonder why we waited so long to get one.The gun is very heavy-duty and well made…

Quality , quality , quality

This is a quality plastic welder. The gun itself is built like a tank… once you hold it and use it you can feel the quality. It comes with 4 different types of staples to tackle almost any job. Additionally, it comes with a knife and pliers needed to trim plastic and cut off staples after welding. I tested the welder and was very surprised at the strength of the weld. This is one of those products you did t know you needed until you have it.

Works Well With Some Minors Annoyances

I've used another plastic welder kit, also sourced from Revain. Both welders work fine and include a similar selection of staples. This welder claims to be 100 watts while the other only claims 70 watts. However, I couldn't really tell any difference in how they worked.I've found that another handy use for these welders is as a hot knife for cutting and fusing the ends of webbing or light rope. The plastic smoother in this kit is useful for the purpose but the straightest staples work well too.

Everything you need to use right out of the box, solid well made kit.

Great set with everything you need to use it right out of the box. I didn't even realize how many things I would use this on till I got it. I got this to repair a plastic liner on my old airstream, It had a crack thats been growing and this worked great at fixing it but then I started finding countless other things that I ended up using it on.
