Review on SEEKONE 100W Plastic Welder Kit: Hot Stapler Gun For Bumper, Kayak & Plastic Product Repairs by Andre Motko

I've used another plastic welder kit, also sourced from Revain. Both welders work fine and include a similar selection of staples. This welder claims to be 100 watts while the other only claims 70 watts. However, I couldn't really tell any difference in how they worked.I've found that another handy use for these welders is as a hot knife for cutting and fusing the ends of webbing or light rope. The plastic smoother in this kit is useful for the purpose but the straightest staples work well too. I also like that the welder gun in this kit has a substantial, heavy feel. It just feels like a quality tool.But I have a couple of cons also;- The other, cheaper kit came in a nice plastic case while this one just has foam inserts in the cardboard box. The inserts are OK, but it's hard to dig out the little plastic staple boxes, and there's really no designated place to tuck the electric cord.- I found it a little harder to insert the staples into this gun than the other one.- This gun has a slight flat spot on the back so it can just stand up to cool. But the stiff electrical cord is just as likely to pull it over. A more substantial rest would be nice.
