Actually I ordered 3 of these, returned one hoping to get one that "works". I couldn't get his bottom to expand. until I realized that the tightening and loosening directions were intuitive opposites. You "tighten" to widen the base to fit your cup holder. May I suggest changing the product labeling to "Open" and "Closed"? Otherwise very happy with the functionality.

There are others like it but at a great price this product is hard to beat. Thanks to the adjustable attachment, it is easy to place it in the cup holder. A few twists and there is a secure hold. The bracket that holds your phone is adjustable in many positions and can be removed with a push of a button. It also holds my GPS with no problems. There is a place for easy access to the power cord. Great purchase, very satisfied.

I could never understand why Weather Tech could charge such an obscene price for a small plastic device. I was so excited when I saw this at a reasonable price. It fits perfectly and works great. I was really looking forward to this item after seeing it on TV. I have a Droid Turbo 2 in a case that is too wide for the Weathertech Cup Phone holder. Everything about this item is amazing EXCEPT the fact that the section that actually holds your phone and controls the tilt setting cannot be tied to whichever setting you choose. Works well mechanically and fits snugly in cup holder. However, if your cup holders are next to the shifter like they are on the 2020 Camry, it will be inconvenient for the driver. It can work for the passenger. One downside is that it's designed at a fixed height that stays level even when shifting gears. I think it should be "height adjustable" (or just made taller?) to hold the phone over the shifter. In the drink holder right next to the shifter, it competes with the shifter for space…

I like this phone holder. I like the base. With a twist, it adapts to the cup holder. It's very easy to use and set up your phone to see it while driving.
