Bluetooth just isn't Wi-Fi like its cousin. honest sound. Pretty hard.

I recently bought some Sengled lamps that used a Wi-Fi connection. What I didn't realize is that they only connect via Bluetooth and require a heart rate app and not an Element Home app. As with any Bluetooth device, you need to determine the range in your home. I wish there was a Bluetooth extender for them. You cannot control the audio level for individual speakers, only turn them on and off. You can control individual light levels. I also suggest turning off the lights while enjoying the…

Good product but there are issues to be prepared for.

I have 5 of these units in my apartment and they are great for streaming music/podcasts to all rooms. However, they run in a separate application from all other Sengled lighting products and unfortunately have many bugs. First, when they're not in use, you can't use the app to turn them back on. Even if you turn off the light with the app and leave the light on, the Sengled app will NOT recognize the light bulbs when they are off for 30 minutes per hour. You have to circle each area (starting…

Pros: Music is playing in my garage. come from lightbulbs. in stereo. No audiophile would be impressed with the sound quality, but it's enough to annoy my neighbors while I'm "working" in my garage in the middle of the night. Setup was easy (although I plugged in the "slave" bulb first before reading the

Easy to install and use - cool product.

First of all I wasn't expecting fantastic stereo sound with booming bass from these speakers - I think that would be unrealistic. Installation was very, very easy. I may have to turn in my "man card" but I actually read the instructions and they were pretty straightforward. Set the "master" bulb as you would any other bulb and (I have an iPhone) go to bluetooth settings and look for new devices - the bulb popped up immediately and I paired it. This resulted in a popup telling me I need an app…
