I have 5 of these units in my apartment and they are great for streaming music/podcasts to all rooms. However, they run in a separate application from all other Sengled lighting products and unfortunately have many bugs. First, when they're not in use, you can't use the app to turn them back on. Even if you turn off the light with the app and leave the light on, the Sengled app will NOT recognize the light bulbs when they are off for 30 minutes per hour. You have to circle each area (starting with the main bulb), turn the lights off and on again - then the app will pick them up. The Sengled Home app, which controls their other products, works seamlessly with Alexa. The app that powers these lightbulbs does NOT work - or at least I haven't had any luck with it. If you have speaker lights and other Sengled products you will need to use separate apps to control them. That being said, the inconvenience of having to toggle multiple switches on and off to get the app working isn't a big deal for a small apartment, but I'd definitely think twice about having more space. Let's hope Sengled figures something out - it would be nice to be able to manage all of their products from one app.
