Other people uploaded pictures so have a look. You will have to drill a small hole into the sides of each existing lighting can and then use the screws provided (or buy some replacements) to attach them. Once you get the hang of it, this is simple but tedious. However, no electrical permit needed, LOL. This is a simple mechanical upgrade.

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • Screws can easily break off during installation

Not very strong for my opinion

Should be sturdier. When you pull the light down, it bends the bracket to 90 degrees from the can. Should hold up to pushing the light up and then pulling it down. Disappointing strength for something that should be a little stronger for not much additional cost.

Pros
  • Prevents sagging of the downlight cans
Cons
  • May require special tools to install

Perfect solution for old can lights

We recently bought a house that is a bit older. We wanted to upgrade the old can lights to newer, brighter LED recessed lights. We were surprised to find our existing can didn’t have any clips inside for the new lights to hook onto. After much frustration and online searching, we found these. Perfect! The first one had to be adjusted a bit (to find the right height to install them), but from then on it was easy sailing. Highly recommend!

Pros
  • Suitable for a wide range of downlight cans
Cons
  • May not be suitable for outdoor use
