I just installed this unit last night and I have to say I'm really enjoying it so far. It does exactly what is expected of it and seems to do it very well. My only concern is that the external source toggle button on the end of the USB cable for switching between two HDMI sources looks VERY cheap and is 100% plastic. I don't know what "Adaptive EDID" means, but this device does not have EDID emulation. Switching inputs means the PCs see the disconnect/connect and swap windows. It's a dumb HDMI+USB switch, not KVM. One of the USB-A to USB-B cables was missing. Unusable for its intended purpose, but switched HDMI/USB inputs very well. Video 3440 x 1440 @ 60Hz was fine. If you don't really need a KVM, but just need a switch, then this is a cheap option. If you want real KVM, look elsewhere!

The first one didn't work with USB ports for microphone and keyboard. The video worked as described. Sent a message to tech support and 3 days later no response. I called Revain and they apologized for the manufacture and sent a replacement two days later. the second worked as it should. Pretty cool for what it does when you have two computers, one for work and one for home, and only have enough space for a monitor and keyboard. So in my case there was a 50/50 chance it would work as advertised

This is the second KVM I've bought. The first had quality issues and I came back. This one is actually even worse. It doesn't work reliably with my desktop. It either blinks and goes out every 5 seconds or just doesn't work at all. On my laptop, however, it works perfectly. Both devices are set to 4K @ 60Hz and a direct connection between my monitor and desktop/laptop works fine. So it's probably a problem with that KVM.
