🦈 SharkBite U2008-0000LFA 1/2 inch Brass Check Valve: Push-to-Connect for Copper, PEX, CPVC Review

I have this to keep in my RV for emergency repairs in case my auxiliary pump check valve fails. I've had this before and it's no fun. This should make the repair easier. Although I haven't installed it yet, I've installed all types of Shark Bite fittings on everything from copper to PVC and PEX and I've never been disappointed. I am very confident that this will not be an exception.

Significant reduction in water consumption! The water pressure is lazy now after installation. This needs to be resolved. I never write negative or positive reviews but this can really mess up a project depending on the installation location so customers need to be aware that water flow will suffer. It works, but for the right situation. So take this into account when installing.

I love shark bites, I hate the price. and cold water, it prevents cold, higher-pressure water from flowing back into the hot, lower-pressure lines. The check valve in my hot water circulating pump broke, just turned to dust. Added this to the line and fixed hot water issues caused by the lack of a check valve on that line. Installed in my caravan, on the hot water pipe in the shower. Doing this will prevent cold water from flowing back into the hot water line. Then when you turn the shower head back on, the water is warm instead of cold. I had fairly good access to the water lines behind a small white plastic cover held in place with 4 screws.
