My dashboard is textured so I used an extra little sticky pad and HAVE 72 HOURS (seems like a lot but it's not lol) and after a few weeks it's still holding up. Basically this mount is a waste of money. I followed the directions to the letter, thoroughly cleaned the dashboard and used the alcohol pad that came with it before installing the self-adhesive disc. I bought this product to hold my iPhone 12 max pro and my wife's iPhone 12 for our truck. The suction cup works great and doesn't fall off on bumpy dirt roads.
