Cap would not close properly

I really don't approve as it is not airtight like the original gas cap; the engine lights were on constantly, indicating a loose gas cap; I have bought other aftermarket gas caps and they have worked fine; the title says "Genuine Toyota" but the dealers have always worked well, this one doesn't

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Compatibility

This cap held my check engine lightbulb in place.

The Check Engine light came on so I took my car to the shop. They said there was a problem with the air pressure in the fuel tank (something like that). The mechanic recommended that I buy a new gas cap. This fitted perfectly and fixed the problem (check engine light went out after 3-4 days).

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • When in doubt

Best for caps

I ordered this cap because reviews said their check engine light went out after changing caps to this particular cap. The same goes for my Toyota Corolla. Just what I needed - my check engine light went out. It's worth noting that my gas mileage has increased now that there is no more vacuum leak. It would be much cheaper to replace the gas cap first instead of the intake manifold gasket.

Excellent Quality Fixed EVAP Code

Fits our 2005 Toyota Sienna LE 3.3L V6. It was definitely OEM, or at least OEM quality. Well hooked to the fuel filler flap and fixed until it clicks, as guaranteed. If you look at this your Sienna is probably pulling an EVAP check engine code like ours did. If you're wondering if it got rid of him, then yes. And just in time, because the inspection time was very long. Remember to drive 100 miles after installation so the computer can run through the code from memory.

Pros
  • Excellent Construction
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
