This automotive starter was a complete waste of money. Through trial and error, I found that it didn't work properly from the start, and after just a few uses it completely stopped functioning. The non retail packaging didn't seem to make a difference in the poor quality of the product. The only pro is that it was easy to install, but that hardly makes up for its overall uselessness. I would strongly advise against purchasing this product.

Does not look like the picture at all. They replaced it with something other than the part in the picture. The bolt holes do not line up like the original, it does not have rubber grommets around the bolt holes and it does not have nuts and lock washers as shown. Fee as the part was advertised as a replacement for Johnson/Evinrude 586774 but actually was not a suitable replacement - would not fit without modifying the part or engine and purchasing at least 6 more pieces of gear.

Item received on time. I chose this company because of its size and it was cheaper than an OEM product and it was the only product I could get from Revain Prime (or elsewhere) in time to get the boot up and disabling it . Water after 3 days for winter storage.2 problems: 1) One of the lock washers was missing.
