The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Very happy with the purchase! Very high sharpness throughout the range! Beautiful bokeh. The main disadvantage is the size and weight. The camera with it looks like a ridiculous prefix to the lens. Has pros: Incredible picture quality that surpasses original Sony lenses! Cons: Unrealistically heavy and huge! Sometimes there are issues with focus. Although, perhaps, these are questions for the camera itself.

This lens is a must have

This lens is amazing. It's sharp even at 1.4. I've been using the Sigma 135 1.8 for 3 years and never thought the 135 would never come out of the bag. Since I got my 105, the 135 hasn't even left the house. I can also take great outdoor photos and we use it to create great corporate shots too. This lens is a must have for any portrait photographer.

It only took a few clicks to become a #1 fan

Not going to be a detailed review yet but I have to say how pleased I am with this lens. It's huge and heavy for 105mm, but 100% awesome. I started testing as soon as I opened it. Indoor shots with auto ISO yielded amazing results, even when turning around! Focusing was fairly quick for a lens of this size, fairly accurate and reasonably sharp - even at full aperture at f/1.4. Considering the weight of this lens, some may need to use a capsule as having a free hand can tire you after a while…

This thing isn't just a lens it's a work of art

Rating 5/5 First impressions - this lens worked 5 days and was there once. As if the Red Sea were parting. I opened this box and was amazed at the size of this lens. He feels every little detail of the highest quality. It's not just a lens, it's a work of art. First off, it's HUGE! and he weighs. But the quality you get from it is like no other. I will put this on record as the BEST Sigma lens you can buy for an E-mount. I am very impressed and you will be too. I ordered it for portraits as it…

Item arrived damaged

Very disappointing lens. The lens box arrived badly crumpled. It literally fell apart when I picked up the box. He didn't drop the lens or anything like that. When I took the lens out of my pocket. The lens hood just falls apart. The pages were broken and cracked. I thought the damaged lens hood was ok because it's still attached to the lens. But the front lens was broken. To be honest it looked like it had been damaged before and someone was trying to glue it back together. The lens cap was…
