Works well, strange form factor

Functionally it works well, ethernet uses Realtek USB GbE controller (automatically recognized by Windows 10, can't remember if I've tried it on other OSes) and all 3 USB Ports 3.0 look good, no speed or connectivity issues. However, the form factor is rather strange. I don't remember exactly why I bought this particular option and not others, maybe at the time it seemed the least uncomfortable or awkward option to me, but now I look at it and I'm like, "why is one side partially tilted ?"โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Annoying

Good product. I've used it with both types.

Great product. I've used it with both types of USB connections and tested the same speeds as when connected directly to my computer (xps 13 9350). The USB A to C converter comes in handy when you use a regular port on this hub. Also, a tip: I've been looking for a USB-C hub that has both Ethernet and HDMI, and the cheapest I could find was Dell's, which is expensive. A cheaper solution is to connect it to a USB port of a separate HDMI + USB adapter. If you have a hub with a USB-C charging portโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Expandable

Faster Ethernet than the built in my PC, I like the extra USB 3 ports

Ethernet is faster than Dell on my desktop system but not by much but it's much more reliable than my PC's built in Ethernet network . It gets quite warm with a USB 3 portable drive plugged in and gets used for about an hour, but so far it's working well. I have a fan blowing on it when copying a large amount of files to a portable hard drive, external SSD or large flash drive. I just bought a second one for my Acer Switch Alpha 12 as the WiFi sucks and it has a Type-C port and a full size USBโ€ฆ

It's worth Computer accessories and peripherals

Everything works exactly as planned. Ethernet speed is wire speed and nothing seems to bother copying a file over the network using it as ethernet and a USB hub. I didn't notice any interruptions. Powered my drive and hub with no problem, and didn't need an external power supply (it doesn't have ports for it anyway). The ONLY issue is that the cable next to the USB to computer port seems a bit flimsy. Not the plug itself, but the cable. Maybe I use and abuse it, ie plugging it into my laptopโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings, everything is fine

Worked great with: 1) Windows 10 laptop 2) Fedora 23 .

Worked great with: 1) Windows laptop 102) Fedora laptop 233) Apple OS X No drivers required and connected to my network at 1000Mbps (which of course differs from the bandwidth you receive network). In the case of a Fedora 23 laptop, this saved me the expense of repairing a faulty laptop ethernet port. The device gets a little warm just by sitting down. As a test, I connected the Logitech Unifying Receiver to my mouse. /keyboard, a 32GB Patriot Rage XT USB 3.0 flash drive, a 2TB Western Digitalโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • unreliable
