Functionally it works well, ethernet uses Realtek USB GbE controller (automatically recognized by Windows 10, can't remember if I've tried it on other OSes) and all 3 USB Ports 3.0 look good, no speed or connectivity issues. Ethernet is faster than Dell on my desktop system but not by much but it's much more reliable than my PC's built in Ethernet network . It gets quite warm with a USB 3 portable drive plugged in and gets used for about an hour, but so far it's working well. Everything works exactly as planned. Ethernet speed is wire speed and nothing seems to bother copying a file over the network using it as ethernet and a USB hub. I didn't notice any interruptions. Powered my drive and hub with no problem, and didn't need an external power supply (it doesn't have ports for it anyway).
