Overall good, but I expected more, there are disadvantages.

I put a disk in a laptop instead of a drive, I didnโ€™t install a new OS, but moved the partition with it from hdd, the speed shows half as much as declared. They say that this may be because AHCI is not enabled, but I have it enabled. Who has a similar problem?

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

A good disk for the money, I bought it for a laptop 4 years ago, since then it has worked both in a laptop and in a PC. It has already worked flawlessly for 10 thousand hours, while its speed does not differ from the declared one, even considering that it is less than 10% free on it.

Pros
  • Reliability, price, compliance with the declared characteristics

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

Its pros: a normal memory controller, there are not enough stars from the sky, but it does not die from a sudden shutdown like on adat su750. 3 year warranty. Has some cons: tbw is average, but for this amount it's hard to find better.

Poor support: Internal SSDs

Great price, in about 6 months we bought about 16 hard drives, when cloning the hard drive I had problems with 2, on the first one I decided to reinstall the operating system When I encountered the same problem on the second hard drive, I decided to call tech support. Once the machine responds, you can find that it works from home, not from the office, the tech support lady told me to reinstall the cloning software and try again, the cloning progress goes between 60-80% and stop asking you toโ€ฆ

Inexpensive, fast, functional.

I built a new system for my wife to replace an outdated 2012 Athlon II system. If you're not using an SSD as your OS drive in 2018, you're doing something wrong. I chose this 250GB Silicon Power SSD. I had never heard of or bought anything from Silicon Power before, but the other positive reviews seem commendable and there are very few crash reports, so I decided to give it a try. It has 3D NAND and was incredibly cheap so I figured I couldn't go wrong. The drive is incredibly light, so much so

Pros

MUST BUY! DON'T SKIP THIS AND DON'T LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS - THEY ARE DEFINITELY WRONG! So first of all, anyone who claims that the speed is not up to several megabytes in nominal numbers, then there is a problem with the configuration on YOUR system and no reason for a bad rating. First, make sure the drives are AHCI capable in the BIOS and not set to IDE or some other setting, and if you don't know what that means or don't know how to do it well, then that's the case too not SP's fault and

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Not even close to the advertised speeds. Not to mention sustained read/writes, but peak numbers for data under 10GB (fairly common). I have an "SSD only" rig so I can say that others are much closer to what the manufacturer claims and most of them actually exist. Write speed is around 350MB/s for the first 5-10GB (connected to an Intel controller (compared to AsMedia etc)), after that it drops to around 180 and for the next 10GB the speed keeps falling around 100-120 MB/s It basically slowsโ€ฆ

  • Good product for the price

Best Value SSD - Installation can be tricky, learn from my mistakes!

I bought a 256GB SATA drive and it is by far the best SSD I could find. It might not be the fastest in terms of performance, but for my needs (and on my old motherboard, which only supports SATA I speeds anyway) it's perfect. The company's customer service is also excellent. I thought I had problems with the first one I received (in hindsight it probably worked) and the company shipped a new one very quickly with no problems. Now that my Windows 10 is installed on an SSD, I feel like a brandโ€ฆ
