The software is generally not very useful and the graphics to display are not complete for Samsung. The hardware unit works well but the system needs better software to be very useful

I had an old DUO device that I have been using at home for a few years. Just bought it for my work place. Simple plug and play setup. Works as advertised!

HDHomeRun Scribe 4K OTA DVR arrived well packaged. After connecting to the antenna, network and power supply, it only worked after a small visit to the website specified in the quick start guide. I highly recommend this item.

I have already ordered HD Homerun Flex 4k as a replacement. There is no app for my samsung tv and the app for roku is terrible! I set up my Plex server on my NAS and it picks up the signal from the HDHomerun tuner beautifully and the Plex app is so much better!

After receiving the device, I was amazed at how easy it was to install the system. something else . The instructions are basically dig, find, and dig some more. It's worth it. Here in Las Vegas nearby channels are running at 4K, great amazing picture after update, sound I don't have. still. Customer support is great but slow.

I miss my Tivo! I have to be stupid, I can't find any handy features that make it easy to skip ads or fast forward boring parts. Installation is super easy, which is great. Recording schedule is ok. Simple things like rewinding live performances or skipping commercials are hopeless. Tivo kicked their ass years ago.

The good things first: The tuner works great. HEVC channels are accepted with no problem. The app works great on Windows. Unfortunately, that's where the good ends. There is an HDHomeRun app for Android. Garbage. It crashes, freezes video when changing channels, and doesn't support audio decoding of HEVC channels. That means someone who really wants to use the system has to use something like Plex. Which negates the value of a tuner with its own deck and DVR support. TL; DR: Just buy the…

This device did not fit me for the following reasons: 1. Although the channels on my TVs are crystal clear from my antenna, some of them could not be viewed on the set-top due to low signal strength -Box to be viewed.2. The interface is not intuitive and is particularly difficult to use on the Apple TV streaming players on the TVs in my home3. There was no sound on Apple TV.
