I like it! It's not so thin that it just falls or flops anywhere. It can be used to store and/or heat sauce, dressing, butter, gravy, chocolate, etc. Plus! Cleaning is easy! Just turn them over to clean them well.

Great Little Crucibles. Suitable for heating syrup, melting butter, chocolate, caramel, recooking sauces and sauces. Easy to clean and easy to store away. The lid is a little heavy, but mostly unnecessary. Great addition to my kitchen.

These things are amazing. I use them to melt butter for popcorn. They are very easy to use and clean. Now I don't have to use an entire skillet to melt the butter or worry about it spilling and splashing out of the microwaveable bowl. Bought another set for a family member and they love it too.

This set came quickly and was so easy to use! So far I've only needed one for baking (melting butter). It was a lot safer than using a bowl because I could safely handle it straight out of the microwave even when the butter was hot and completely melted. They seem durable and easy to wash. I was so excited when my crucibles arrived. I like the bright red color, the size and the ease of cleaning. I bought these silicone pans to melt small amounts of chocolate in the microwave for decorating cakes (as opposed to using a double boiler).
