Fantastic performance and great solution for small form factor PCs

I found this out in early 2021 when migrating my build from a behemoth ATX tower to a handier O11D Mini that could support either SFX or SFX- L required. bp PSUs of this size tend to cost a little more than full-size PSUs, so I knew I'd spend more for one that would power my build and have room for some upgrades later without worrying about the spec too have to. There's absolutely no problem powering a dedicated 5800x processor, 2080ti Strix OC with closed loop cooling and lots of headroom. The

Pros
  • Quiet 120mm fan with improved half-fan performance. Support for quad PCI-E 8/6 pin connectors
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

The Silverstone SX-800-LTI is one hell of a power supply in an SFX-L case. Due to power shortages due to the release of Nvidia's new 3000 series GPUs and AMD's Radeon 6000 series GPUs, everyone is trying to build/upgrade their PC to be ready for the next gen games. When I searched all I could find in SFX form was Silverstones and I'm glad I tried them! I currently drive a 5900x with an MSI 3090 Ventus OC; I overclocked my processor and it works stable. I owe it all to Silverstone who is strong…

Pros
  • High efficiency with 80 PLUS Titanium certification
Cons
  • Almost everything available

I needed to build a small custom system that for an animator needed to be powerful, compact and very quiet. It should also be able to have a bit of a future upgrade path. While this mITX build only required around 630W of the SF PSU, getting a little more capacity isn't bad. Also, it would allow the fan to stay off most of the time, except when the rendering GPU is heavily loaded, even then it's so quiet. As a general rule, I've mostly used EVGA and Corsair power supplies in my most recent…

Pros
  • 100% Modular Flexible Flat Array Short Cables. Sfx-l form factor for use in small form factor computers
Cons
  • Too long to wait
