Not too hot, best heat lamps

Low power consumption and no light output keeps the old lab warm and healthy. When we used a regular heat lamp, he didn't go near it and didn't get sick. Now it can feel warm without overheating.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

They generate a lot of heat

The elements get very hot, enough to burn you. They will take a few minutes to come up to temperature and probably about ten minutes to cool down as well. This gives fairly even heating when connected to a thermostat. I use two of these in a 15ft2 rabbit hutch and they work great.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Excellent product, durable

Always delivered in perfect condition due to secure packaging and the product has always worked well, keeps my bearded dragon nice and warm, ran at 150 watts for a long time before I switched to these 100 watts, in for a long time and were still on the first bulb. Great product at a great price!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • There are nuances

So damn happy with my purchases!

I bought both a heating bulb and 2 bulbs. They are all phenomenal and very durable. The lamp itself has a very strong grip, which was my main concern as I didn't want it to fall into my tank. It also rotates easily and holds its place. The bulb is heavy and of good quality. I have a 50 gallon tank and 1 lamp/bulb heats all 1 side of the tank perfectly. I haven't left it on long enough to test its limits, I only use it to control the temp for my hermit crabs and turn it off at around 75-80. FYI,

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Nothing here
